Miss Anambra sex scandal: How it all happened – Chidinma Okeke

Former Miss Anambra, Chidinma Okeke, has spoken on the sex scandal that nearly ruined her life few months back.
There have been different versions of what transpired between the embattled 20-year-old beauty queen and the organisers of the pageant.
Recall that Chidinma Okeke, a former beauty queen was seen in an x-rated video with a lesbian partner.
Chidinma Okeke, who won the Miss Anambra beauty pageant, organised by the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, has remained incommunicado.
She reportedly went into hiding due to alleged threat to her life.
But Okeke has finally broken her silence, she spoke In an interview with The Nation, debunking claims that she threatened to commit suicide.
Narrating her own side of the story, the former beauty queen said, “Early last year, the ABS advertised for the Miss Anambra beauty pageant. I heard of it and went to make enquiry.
“My roommate was also interested, but one of the organisers told me to apply. I told them I was not interested but the man insisted that I might win the competition.
“He also promised to give me the form for free if I indicated interest, and he did when I agreed to contest.
“But one Jane told me that before a winner would be declared, there were certain things to be done, including the (sex) video.

“I consented after some persuasion from the organisers. I later went for the contest at the Marble Arch Hotels in Awka, and I was declared winner with a Kia Rio vehicle as star prize.
“When I went for my car after the contest, the organisers brought out a contract form for me to sign, but I told them I wanted to contact my lawyer to see it. I was not given the opportunity to do so.
“What they kept telling me was that if I insisted on not signing the contract or wanted to contact my lawyer, they would release the video.
“At that point, I became uncomfortable and signed the contract to avoid such embarrassment, and the car was released to me from where it was packed within the premises of ABS.
“From that moment, I became a slave to them. On October 11, 2016, they called me to come and make presentations inside the office of one the organisers. After that, the man excused some people in that room and showed me the video again.
“They told me to drop my car and removed my crown from me. I told them I would take the car as stipulated in the contract. They insisted I should pack it in the premises of (ABS).
“I told my uncle in Abuja about the situation. My uncle called them and asked them to release my car to me. Instead, they forwarded the video to him as part of the blackmail. That was what happened.”

Housewife offers N120,000 bride price to quit 5-yr-old barren marriage

Housewife offers N120,000 bride price to quit 5-yr-old barren marriage, RelationshipsComments A housewife, 33-year-old Seliat Abeeb, yesterday, in Omu-Aran, Kwara State, offered to pay the bride price of N120,000 demanded by her husband as a condition for dissolving their five-year-old barren marriage. Seliat, who lives at Ago Olushola area in Otun, had, on June 14, approached an Omu-Aran Area Court, seeking the dissolution of her marriage to Abeeb. The money represents her bride price and other expenses incurred on Seliat as claimed by Abeeb while their union lasted. Seliat had, in her petition, told the court that she was no longer interested in the union that had yet to produce a child. She said: “I was forced to marry him against my will. I know quite well that my husband had spent some money on me. “I am ready to pay the N120,000 he demanded as condition for my release. He cannot use the huge amount to deter me from leaving. I am no longer interested in the union.” Abeeb had earlier pleaded with the court to assist in reconciling him with his wife, a move Seliat vehemently resisted. He then demanded N120,000 for her release. “Since she is bent on leaving and having spent so much on her and her family, she should pay the stated amount to secure her release,” Abeeb insisted. The judge, Mr. Abolade Banigbe, in his ruling, said the court did its best to pacify Seliat, but to no avail. He held that “we have no option than to dissolve the union. The case was earlier adjourned for settlement among the parties, but with the turn of event, the court has no option than to dissolve the marriage. “I have tried my best in this circumstance to see that the couple remains one, but the woman stood her grounds. The union between them ceases to exist from now.” Banigbe, however, awarded N50,000 to be paid to Abeeb as against the N120,000 he demanded.

Shakira, Pique, stars set for Messi’s wedding

Football and showbiz stars gather in northern Argentina on Friday for Latin America’s celebrity wedding bash of the decade when Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi marries his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo. Messi and Antonella Roccuzzo

during an outing in Barcelona Pop star Shakira and her husband, Messi’s teammate Gerard Pique , are expected among the 260 guests, according to media and locals close to the event. They will join old friends of the couple and footballers such as his Barcelona strike partners Luis Suarez and Neymar. The party at a casino in his hometown Rosario will be a respite for the player from his legal woes. A Spanish court last month rejected his appeal against a conviction for tax fraud. – All-star guest list – Brunette bride Roccuzzo, 29, will wear a dress by Spanish designer Rosa Clara, which has been flown over from Barcelona. The designer has dressed stars such as actresses Eva Longoria and Sofia Vergara as well as Spain’s Queen Letizia. From 2200 GMT the guests will pack into the Hotel City-Center Casino, which stands right next to a crime-ridden slum run by drug gangs. “Messi’s wedding accentuates the sense of inequality that is symbolized by the casino in that neighborhood,” said Carlos del Frade, author of several books on the drug trade in Rosario. This city of 1.2 million people is also a cradle of footballing talent, however. “Rosario lives and breathes football. That is another reason Lionel feels so comfortable here,” the city’s mayor, Monica Fein, told AFP. “I think he is excited that through his wedding his friends (from abroad) will be able to get to know the city he loves so much.” – Local delicacies – The civil wedding ceremony and party will all take place inside the venue, and the guests will be lodged there too. Messi, 30 — considered a man of few words — has reportedly asked chefs to cook local delicacies such as “locro” stew and “empanada” pasties for the feast. The star dish is a typical Argentine beef roast including chitterlings, gizzards and kidneys. Uruguayan pop bands Rombai and Marama plus singer Karina, wife of Argentina footballer Sergio Aguero, will perform at the dance. It is not known whether the guests will also get a song from Shakira, the Colombian diva famous for “Whenever, Wherever.” – Tight security and media scrum – Some 155 journalists have been accredited to cover the bash, but have been warned they will have no access to the guests. Security will be handled by a private team of Israeli specialists used by Messi for all his excursions. “In Lionel Messi’s case, he’s widely accepted by the people at all levels,” said Diego Manso, a local private security consultant. “All the same, the security systems will never overlook the probability of a lot of people wanting to approach him, wanting to touch him, take photos with him, from their risk analysis.” Messi and Roccuzzo live in Barcelona where he plays, but still return regularly to Rosario on holiday. The couple had their two children baptized there last year: Thiago, 4 and one-year-old Mateo, both born in Barcelona. “It’s no surprise that he is coming back here to get married,” one of the wedding guests, the player’s old school friend Diego Vallejos, told AFP. “He is an ordinary person who just wants to be near his family and friends. He is a humble person. Money has not changed his personality.” Messi and Roccuzzo met as children. He moved to Spain when he was 13 to join FC Barcelona. But they kept in touch. “They are the love of each other’s lives,” says Vallejos.

Man batters wife; says ‘dragging my sick mum on the ground is an insult I can’t take’

A middle-aged man, whose wife was rescued from his grips, while he was beating her, has said that he was provoked by her ill-treatment of his sick mother.

                                 Joy Abiagan, the housewife
At the moment, his wife, Joy Abiagan, is nursing an injury in her right eye in a hospital in Ogun State.
The victim, who also complained of body pains, accused her husband of striping her naked in public at their Ifo home, Ogun State.
When contacted, her husband, Francis Abiagan, accused his wife of being disrespectful to his ailing mother.
According to him, “I have been married for 10 years. My mother had stroke and no one was available to give her special care. My greatest undoing was to bring her home, as my wife would not allow her a moment of rest.
“I have been accommodating all her siblings, but in return for my gesture, they (siblings) have turned my life into a nightmare.
“First, she started by starving her so I decided to hire a house help, who would be cooking and caring for her.
“But the humiliation on my mother came to a height after my wife was seen dragging my mother on the ground, calling her a witch. I have been enduring all other insults, but I could not bear this particular one.
“She told the cook not to come again. The church where we worship organised several meetings for us, urging her to change, but she refused.
“I gave her the treatment she deserves.”

Shocking! Nigerian Women Secretly Expose Reasons Why Most Men Are Very Poor on Bed!

Shocking! Nigerian Women Secretly Expose Reasons Why Most Men Are Very Poor on Bed!, Dear Reader, If you are a man and you are Curious as to how to to be a stronger man on bed so your woman can respect you more, then better read this report to the very end now. My name is Dr Segun, a sexuality activist and today I want to reveal to you why over 30 Million Nigerian men can’t Last for More than 2 mins on bed. Last month a carried out an survey over the internet, and collected anonymous comments of women who are eager to share their views on my most men are very terrible on bed, so that men can know where you can improve your sexual life & be a better husband. Before I go on..here’s what a man has to say about his terrible bedroom woes…

Now, Below Listed are some of the Anonymous comments these women made… Look at what Madam “brown Bear” has to say

… Look at what “Starved Wife” have to say…

 And this one..

Now here are the complained problems is summary….

    Lack of Proper Sexual Knowledge:

The root of NOT being good on bed start from the LACK of the knowledge on sexuality. Most men especially the baby boomers (those born in the 60’s) don’t’ KNOW JACK about sexuality. Many don’t know where to torch on a woman’s body…they don’t know how to make her crave for more. All they are after is to just “mount” their wives and spill the “Royal Milk” in less than 2 mins when the poor woman is just getting in the mood to eat you up! When a man lack poor knowledge on sexuality. He will find it hard to CONTROL is wife in bed & a man who can’t control is wife in bed room can’t control her outside the bed room. So my best advice for you is to get educated sexually, so you’ll know how to please your wife to the extent she will even “worship ” you!

                                                        Premature Ejaculation:

YES, premature ejaculation is a MAJOR reason why over 20 million Nigerian men are terrible on bed. As I said earlier on, most men just mount on their woman and in less than 2 mins..they spill the royal milk! The worst part is that many of them make matter worse by taking all sort of Herbal Mixtures that never works, because they contain MORE toxin that causes prostate cancer than the cure! My brother, do you know that when you take all those nonsense herbal mixture, you actually ‘turn her off” rather than makes her in the mood? I know it could be tempting to use all sort of thing to solve your premature ejaculation problems, but trust me, most drugs and herbal mixtures actually does more harm than good to your body.

STOP MALTREATING WIDOWS-----ACTIVISTS AND POLITICAL LEADERS LAMENTS

African Widows’ Summit: Activists, political leaders call for abolishment of maltreatment of widows WomanComments HUMAN rights activists and political leaders in Nigeria have called for a concerted action aimed at abolishing all cultural and behavioural practices militating against the full exercise of the rights and privileges of widows in Nigeria. They spoke at the African Widows’ Summit in commemoration of second International Widows Day, pioneered by the Felix King Foundation at the Best Western Hotel, Benin City, Edo State Nigeria. 2nd Left, Mohammed Aliu Momoh, Joe Okei- Odumakin, Aisha Yusuf and others at the African Widows Summit , Benin City. Among activists that attended the event include Dr Joe Okei-Odumakin, Founder, Women Arise Initiative; Dr Mohammed Aliu Momoh, an International Finance and Business Leader and Haija Aisha Yusuf, Co-convener, Bring Back Our Girls campaign. Presenting a paper titled, Confronting Inequity to Promote Change, Joe Okei-Odumakin called on every Nigerian to see the challenge that widows and other vulnerable women face in the society as one that should be confronted by every individual to enable the positive synthesis that will build communities for the better. She blamed the continued scourge of maltreatment of widows on the insensitivity of those not directly involved and the silence of those who found themselves as victims and said it is a debt society owes itself as a mutually functional growing unit to protect the vulnerable ones among them. “Society must come together to fight this scourge. There are those who keep silence apparently in the feeling that it does not directly affect them. But I must state that the people who keep quiet in the face of such a situation are either cowards or traitors,” she stated. Citing a number of cases of deprivation in which her organization has intervened in the past, Dr Okei-Odumakin advised women to be brave and speak out when their rights are trampled upon, especially, as is prevalent, upon the departure of their husbands, assuring their voices would be heard by those ready and willing to offer help and support. Also speaking on the paper themed; “Girl Child Education: Panacea for Potential Growth,” Aisha Yusuf blamed the scourge of maltreatment of widows and the vulnerable in our society on ignorance, saying that spreading education to the poor and the vulnerable will go a long way in preparing them for the task of effectively fighting for their rights if and when the situation arises. Future survival She lamented the situation where Nigerian women are denied rights of inheritance and in other cases even basic education and advised men to invest in the education of their girl children while also ensuring that they hold their wives in confidence and empower them to make certain critical decisions that will play critical roles in the furure survival of their families when they depart this world. Earlier in his address, Founder of the Felix King Foundation, Mr. Felix King Eiremiokhae, lamented the plight of widows in society and said his Foundation was established, not to solve all the myriad problems, but to blaze the trail and hopefully inspire others to embrace the movement that will alter the cultural practices that lead to the disempowerment and maltreatment of widows. He said his Foundation has over the past two years, not only organized the first ever widows summit in Nigeria, but gone ahead to make interventions aimed at ameliorating the sufferings of widows in the society. “I am of the strong belief that when we deny the poor and the vulnerable their own human dignity and capacity for freedom and choice, it becomes self-denial. It becomes a denial of both our collective and individual dignity, at all levels of society. This is so because the Divine order of social evolution presupposes that we protect one another, speak for one another and advance the cause of one another and when we, for one reason or the other, deny the weak and vulnerable among us what is their due, we are disrupting that Divine order,” he said Felix King, who had earlier presented a Private Members’ Bill to the Edo State House of Assembly in his quest to give legislative teeth to the abolishment of ill-treatments against widows called on all peoples of all nationalities and callings to embrace his call by not only supporting widows but take it upon themselves as duty to fight for them whenever they encounter where they are being maltreated. Also lending her voice to the campaign, wife of the Governor of Edo State, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki, commended the Felix King Foundation for his timely initiative and promised the support of of her pet project, the Edo Women for Agriculture (EWA) towards empowering widows by encouraging them to adopt those of them who wish to embrace agriculture. She expressed the hope that with the initiative embarked upon by the Foundation, Edo State and other States in Nigeria will soon make very conscious and deliberate efforts that will change the circumstances of widows. Among other dignitaries that attended the event are the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Justin Okonoboh, Deputy Speaker of the House, Hon (Mrs.) Elizabeth Ativie, members of the academia and political leaders of Edo State. Meanwhile, the Foundation had earlier presented a 32 page private bill to the Edo State House of Assembly in Benin City, seeking to make the obnoxious practice and custom in the state unlawful. At the presentation, the Speaker, Okonoboh promised to work along with his colleagues to ensure quicker passage of the bill in law. “I am aware there are other bills like this one but we are going to harmonized them and come out with a suitable law that will checkmate this kind of practice on our communities,” Okonoboh said. The foundation on the same day paid a courtesy call to the wife of the governor, Mrs. Obaseki, who also pledged her support towards eradication of widows’ maltreatment in Edo State.

Marry educated women for better life – Female university don advises men On June 27, 201710:23 pmIn NewsComments A female professor in Zamfara state, Prof. Bilkisu Shinkafi, has called on men to marry educated women in order to check social vices in the society. Prof. Shinkafi made the call on Tuesday, in Gusau, at a Town Hall meeting organised by the Zamfara Circle, an NGO. 10 Simple Ways to Keep Your Relationship Alive

Most relationship start out as a huge celebration but suddenly become boring, filled with arguments and uninteresting. This could be caused by “un-understanding” on the part of the partners. To revitalize your relationship this season and always, we present you the following 10 simple ways of keeping any relationship alive:

  1. Without quality time your relationship will not survive. Carve out at least an hour every evening for both of you to spend such a time exclusively together.
  2. You’ll both need security and comfort. A good relationship is built on compromises and a great deal of give and take on both sides. So, reach compromises with your partner and give as well as take from each other.
  3. Keep your dependence and independence in balance. Tell and show your partner how much you need him or her but don’t cling as that can make him or her feel trapped.
  4. Encourage him to listen to you by showing appreciation. By the same token, show interest when he talks to you. Be aware that most men aren’t strongly wired for conversations in the way women are. They need more silence and internal time.
  5. Make him appreciate you. So, don’t wait for a spontaneous compliment from him, but say something good about yourself and ask for his agreement.
  6. Teach him early in your relationship how to give you a strong and intense orgasms, because its unlikely he’ll find out alone unless you let him know and ask him to stimulate you on the right place. Remind him what he does or needs to do to increase the level of satisfaction he gives you in bed.
  7. Learn to do the one thing that is most likely to restore good feeling in your relationship, which is; giving your partner a genuine, loving and approving smile.
  8. Often those subtle quirks that first attracted you to your partner can with time, turn around and become annoying habits. Learn to love your partner with all the warts and all.
  9. Hidden resentments poison a relationship. So, if something about your partner bothers you, say it! Remember that while men are wary of emotional conversations they love to find solutions. Express your problems and then ask him to help you find solutions. Express your problem and then ask him to find the answer.
  10. Learn that punishing your partner won’t work. It may make you feel better to give him or her a hard time but it’ll make him or her dig his or her heels in more. A better tactics is to reward the things you like and ignore what you don’t like.

TOOTHPASTE PREGNANCY TEST

Have you ever heard that toothpaste can tell you whether you’re pregnant or not but believe me this is ancient trick that works most of the time.

What you need to do is pretty simple:The toothpaste pregnancy test involves placing toothpaste on a plate or in a cup and then adding a few drops of urine (early morning urine) to it and wait for a color change.

If woman is pregnant, the paste should change color and even froth. If she is not pregnant its appearance will not change at all.

It’s wrong for a woman to claim equality with a man in marriage —Lilian Larka

Beautiful and curvy Ghanaian actress, Lilian Larkai has become something of a sensation on the
Instagram but not for her hot body or pretty face, but for her philosophic mind, as she continues to reel out life-inspiring messages to her fans almost on daily page on the Instagram. Lilian Larkai The stunning beauty who emerged Best New Actress in Ghana at the Ghana Naija Showbiz Award held in Lagos, Nigeria, recently, is not jumping in the same wagon with pantheon of women who believe men and women should be equal stakeholders in marriage. In a response to Potpourri’s question on equality in marriage, the actress was emphatic without any equivocation that men are the boss in a marriage. “ “It’s not possible. A woman cannot claim equality with a man in a marriage. For a woman to be happy in her relationship or marriage she must first admit that a man and a woman aren’t equal,” she said.

Wife Beats Up Her Husband For Attending A Church Different From Hers

Zimbabwean Magistrate will continue tomorrow, the trial of a woman, who beat her husband for attending a church different from hers.

As reported by Zimbabwean NewsDay, Kuvarega said on May 20 this year Ndlovu returned home from church and Mudzengi started shouting at him for attending the Apostolic church.

“Ndlovu was served with supper by his daughter and when he finished eating, Mudzengi grabbed him by the neck and pushed him to the floor before she sat on him and assaulted him several times with fists. The accused also destroyed Ndlovu’s Bible, anointing oil and Mwazha’s(his pastor’s) picture.

Men are born to cheat, don’t leave your man because he cheats – Funke Adesiyan

Nollywood actress Funke Adesiyan has told Nigeria women that cheating does not make their male partner a bad person, but only validates him as a man.
The actress said that women should look beyond the flaw of cheating and focus on the way their men treat them, adding that leaving a man because he cheats is like relocating from Nigeria to America because it rains.
She wrote via her Instagram page, “Leaving a man because he cheats is like relocating from Nigeria to America because of rain. News flash: it rains everywhere. Find a good man who loves you and appreciates you. Every other thing can be worked on. Men are naturally born to cheat. Look beyond this flaw and focus on how he treats you.

“Good morning guys. I read many comments from my last post and I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s funny that it’s women who are answering for their men that the men don’t cheat on them. My sisters, let the men answer for themselves. The truth is a bitter pill to swallow.
“You cannot answer for people. I stand by my position 100%. I know that as a modern woman, we aim to break away from the norm and be as westernized as possible but believe me, it happens everywhere. It’s only those who got caught that is referred to as offenders.
“Not many men can sincerely say they have been with only their partner for 10yrs without “playing”. It doesn’t make them bad people, it just makes them men.”

MAN SEEKS DIVORCE OVER WIFE'S INABILITY TO COOK DECENT MEAL

Man seeks divorce over wife’s inability to cook decent meal On June 16, 201710:34 pm In News, RelationshipsComments Ibadan – One Ajumoti Ajibola, on Friday approached an Idi-Ogungun Customary Court, Agodi Ibadan, seeking dissolution of his three-year-old marriage with his wife, Bolaji, over her inability to cook a decent meal. Cooking with firewood is a potential cardiovascular health risk for pregnant women. Testifying before the court, Ajibola described the defendant as a disobedient wife, who hardly obey instruction and did not know how to do domestic works. “She is not respectful and her mother, who is in the position to correct her mistake, always supports her whenever I report my wife to her. “Also she cannot prepare a decent meal and I can no longer eat the tasteless meal, so the court should end our union of three years, to enable me to marry a woman that can cook good food for me,’’ he pleaded. The defendant, however, informed the court that she did court marriage, hence the customary court has no jurisdiction to entertain the case. “Though I agreed with the dissolution of the marriage,  but  We did court marriage at Ibadan North Local Government Registry when we married,’’ Bolaji said. The President of the Court, Chief Mukaila Balogun, struck out the case, saying that evidence of both parties proved that they did court marriage. Balogun advised the couple to proceed to high court for dissolution of their marriage.
